Sorry if this is posted here already, but i want to replace the spacesaver with a decent sized alloy. Would a 15" alloy fit over the front brakes and sit in the boot with the carpet flush? Is there any difference in m sport brakes than normal

M Sports are the same brakes as SE's

330 & M3's are different brakes, the 316i to 328i are all the same brakes

So a 15inch wheel will fit no problem!

Are you really sure. I seem to remember getting discs for the the 320ci and they gave me discs that were slightly smaller. I think they were for a 318

As far as i'm aware they're all the same

I've been given invoices saying "Brake Disc, 316-328" or something similar

Imagine the cost to give every model in the E46 its own individual set of discs!
